The Acoustics and Robotic Laboratory supports teaching and research activities in acoustics and robotic engineering. Acoustics engineering includes physical acoustics and environmental noise control, while robotic engineering includes unmanned aerial robots, autonomous ground robots and robot manipulators, etc. The Laboratory aims to promote advancements in noise control and development of automation systems, with a particular emphasis on acoustic and automation related subjects.
The Laboratory provides cutting-edge facilities and setup for experiments and projects, including:
- Motion capture system for multiple moving objects
- Industrial level robot manipulator
- Impedance tube system
- Anechoic chamber and reverberant chamber
- LabVIEW-based acoustic measurement system
