Blackboard is a leading Learning Management System (LMS) utilised in tertiary institutions. Blackboard Learn is an application for online teaching, learning, community building, and knowledge sharing.

Students

During the add/drop period, changes in course enrollment on Blackboard will be effective on the next day.  The materials of enrolled subjects are available during current semester.

Teachers

The teaching subjects will be available on Blackboard one week before the semester commences.  The Individual Groups, Lecture Groups, and Combined Groups will be created automatically on Blackboard according to the subject groups assignment.  If you are authorised to access the programme/subject materials, please send an email request to the ITU E-learning Team pfelearn@cpce-polyu.edu.hk and CC (Carbon Copy) to the subject owners.  Upon our acknowledgement, we will proceed with your request as soon as possible.

CAR Staff

Selected staff will be able to access the teaching materials on Blackboard by using the Admin Search Panel.  Responsible staff in Programmes will be able to access the corresponding Programme/Scheme Pages on Blackboard.  If you are authorised to access the programme/subject materials, please send an email request to the ITU E-learning Team pfelearn@cpce-polyu.edu.hk and CC (Carbon Copy) to the subject owners.  Upon our acknowledgement, we will proceed with your request as soon as possible.

Training

Ongoing training sessions are provided to teachers in basic and advanced levels during the semesters.  For students, training sessions will be available in the student orientation, arrangement will be made by the ITU Notice.
