Anti-deception
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in internet scams and telephone deception cases in Hong Kong. Common types include phone scams, online romance scams, and investment fraud.
To protect yourself:
- Stay vigilant at all times
- Never share your personal information
- Never transfer money to anyone suspicious
If you are unsure about a possible fraud, contact the Anti-Deception Coordination Centre of the Hong Kong Police Force at (852) 18222 for assistance.

Preventing Sexual Harassment on Campus
At PolyU CPCE, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students by eliminating all forms of discrimination, including sexual harassment.

Student-led Activities
We understand that you are eager to make the most out of your first few months of settling into University Life by joining different types of orientation camps and activities run by our student organisations. While these experiences can be fun and meaningful, please take note of the following important reminders:
- Only authorised activities are covered by the College’s group personal accident insurance.
- All authorised student activities are promoted via the college email, and the activity fees are paid by using the Octopus card at the iPay Kiosk or CSAO Service Counter, or via the PolyU Online Payment Portal, if applicable. No cash payment is allowed under any circumstances.
- Do NOT take part in any unauthorised student activities, including Orientation Camp / Day / Night.
- Do NOT disclose your personal data and sensitive information to strangers or unauthorised organisations.
