CPCE Active Scholar Awards

Starting 2021, CPCE presents the Active Scholar Awards annually to recognise the outstanding contributions and commitment of  CPCE academic members who have actively published their research findings.

I am delighted to express my sincere gratitude for being selected as a recipient of the CPCE Active Scholar Award. I was honoured and thrilled to learn that I have been selected for this award. The award has recognized my outstanding research performance in terms of impact, quality, and output. I want to thank the College for providing me with unreserved support for organizing the international conferences and establishing my interdisciplinary research team across geographical continents. This award inspires me to work even harder and excel in my research publications in the forthcoming years.

Artificial Intelligence, Gamification, Motivation and Engagement, Assessment and Feedback, Education Policy, International Law and Comparative Law. I am deeply honoured to receive the CPCE Active Scholar Award once again, a recognition of the dedication and effort I have invested across my diverse fields of study. I am especially grateful for the flexibility and support provided by PolyU CPCE, which have enabled me to explore interdisciplinary research and collaborate with scholars from various disciplines. This award not only acknowledges my contributions to the academic community but also strengthens my motivation to continue pursuing impactful research. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my PhD supervisor for his continuous guidance and encouragement throughout my academic journey, as well as to my co-authors, colleagues, and the Research Committee for their invaluable advice and support.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the College, our Division of Languages and Communication, the research office, my fellow researchers and hardworking colleagues for their support and inspiration. This recognition is a testament to the importance of creating spaces where independent thinking and diverse perspectives, including those from the humanities, can thrive. This prestigious recognition affirms my dedication and unwavering commitment to academic excellence and stands as a testament to the countless hours of hard work I have invested. It further strengthens my resolve to make meaningful and impactful contributions to language education. My heartfelt gratitude goes to CPCE and the Division of Languages and Communication for their steadfast support throughout my research. Their continuous encouragement and provision of resources have fostered an environment that inspires innovation and scholarly growth. This stimulating atmosphere has been instrumental in shaping my self-confidence, cultivating a forward-looking mindset, and enhancing my adaptability in today’s digital world.

This recognition is not only a testament to my dedication and hard work in the field of philosophy and religious studies, but also a reflection of the unwavering support (particular the financial support from CPCE research funds) and encouragement I have received from my colleagues and the institution, in particular the Division of Social Sciences, Humanities and Design.
